Thunderdome

Had a really bad time here. Food had to be returned. Steak pie, steak was dried out and pastry was rock hard. The side of vegetables was cold. The replacement had tough fatty steak with burnt bits throughout the pie and the cabbage was still raw in the vegetables. Even after complaining there was no reduction or good will gesture when it came to the bill. Will not take my family back. It really has went down hill a very steep hill.

I have to say I cannot understand all the negative comments - we were there last Saturday and the service was great the food was excellent and we will definitely be back

Visited last week.Food horrendous service lousey.Should have gone to Mc Donalds across the road.

This has to be the worst restaurant i think i have ever visited. The staff are pretty nice and service average, but the food - to put it simply - sucks. Bland overcooked and totally tasteless. please dont waste your hard earned cash visiting!

The Thunderdome is the worse place I have ever eaten in my life. I was there last Sunday with my family, and although initailly the staff came pretty quickly for drinks orders, we had to wait more than 1/2 an hour before anyone came back to take out food order. Which took 40 minutes for our starter to arrive, and my daughter who wasn't having a starter had asked the server if they could bring her main meal with our starters, which they didn't and I had mentioned to them again and all they said was sorry. When the food came out it wasn't presented very nice and didn't taste all that good either, so much so my daughter couldn't eat hers!!! I can honestly say I will never be back in it at all I was so disappionted at the whole experience.

went one sunday in january with 3 other people, at first we thought it was closed becayse it was so dark but realised it was opened when we saw other diners. ordered 2 course meal, starter was nice, ordered lasange for main course, it looked lovely, all golden brown then i tasted it..it was dry and bland, when asked by waitress if our food was alright i told her what i thought of the lasange and she replied i will pass your comments onto the chefs, no apolgy or anything

Had our christmas dinner in the dome last week food srvice and entertainment was first class considering ther was 22 of us on a work outing. going back boxing night for the big yin tribute ?20 for dinner

my friend and i go to the thunderdome once a week it is a lovely restaurants with lovely staff and good quality food

we go to the thunderdome on special occasions birthday/anniversaries the overall standard is excellent and having a large family 5/7 adults dining at one time is excellent value for money staff are excellent and the surroundings are relaxing

was there on friday night food was good quick service band was good disco after was great will be back its 5 star

Just had a faboulous night out in the Thunderdome restaurant.The night was special as it was my wifes birthday and i have to say Thank-You toall the staff for a great night. Everything from food to service would put most restaurants to shame. Thanks to all.

Thank God we in Newtownabbey have the ThunderDome. A place of high standards in Food, Hygene and service. I wonder how many other restaurants allow you to see into their kitchen and watch your food being cooked freshly in a very clean environment. Their toilets are amazing. Private car parking, good food, great service and open to all to view. I wonder what the toilets, kitchens and back of house in these other places are like?

Just had a great nite out with my family. This is one of the cleanest restaurants i have ever been to, also to see your food being cooked fresh in the open plan kitchen is very refreshing and shows that the owners have complete confidence in their food and staff. Graet food, excellant service and brilliant atmosphere. Highly reccommended.
