I just had a Sunday Easter lunch at smugglers and was terribly disappointted by the lack due attention from the waiting staff. They kept bumping into our table and even caught my daughters arm on the second time. They had a tendency to rush around there's really no need for it. The food was "alright". But nothing special. Very disappointted wouldn't recommend.

My two friends and I dined at Smugglers a few months ago. The Restaurant was not busy at all, maybe due to the fact it was a cold winters night, matched by the cold inside the Restaurant. We had a nice Starter and Main Course, and were chatting away when we noticed that we were the only Diners still in the Restaurant. It may have been time to close the Restaurant, but the Waiting Staff did not even offer us the Dessert Menu, or ask us if we wished to have Tea or Coffee. I then asked for a Cappuccino and was told that the machine was turned off. I duly got my Coffee which was lukewarm. Overall the food and service is usually excellent in Smugglers, but I was left dissapointed on this occasion.

We stopped here for a late supper after taking in the Giant's Causeway. I was a bit worried when I saw the giant pirate statue in the main entrance, but I had nothing to fear. The food was wonderful and very fairly priced. Service was fine...nothing great, nothing terrible...and the meals came out promptly enough.
