The place itself is beautiful inside but don't let this fool you.
After ordering it took 45mins for us to get our meal and it wasn't even a busy night. The meal was such a let down as we had high expectations. The portions were very small, chips that came with a meal consisted of no more than 7 chips and there was no garnish/vegetables served with the meal. We got a variety of main courses and all seemed to be poor quality produce that was obviously reheated. If we wanted processed chicken breasts we would have went to McD's. It's not a good sign feeling hungry after paying so much for a meal.
Furthermore the manageress who did very little but stand at the bar was very rude and unhelpful. A party of 4 who were sat close to us had brought a cake in for one of the people with them. A woman asked the manageress to bring out the cake and she brought it out IN THE BOX!!! no candles or nothing. What kind of service is this? The manageress then had a disagreement with this party and rather than apologise she was snappy, rude and had a aggressive tone.
Such an awful experience in Sax on the Street and really advise people not to waste money or time in this place.
Went with two friends and we all had a lovely meal in really nice surroundings.Was my first visit and would hope to go back soon.We had to wait a while but i think that isnt a problem as you know all food is freshly cooked. Service was good and girl very pleasant.
A great spot, never been disappointed with food but rarely satisfied with the service. Unbeliveably slow service means we've struck this off the places we can dine with family.
well dissappointed again, i only went back as a friend said it was really good, how wrong was he!!! food was terrible as was the 'manageress' bex? not only would i not rate this place i'd much prefer a cold mc'donalds!!!|!!!
