Love it. It's expensive but the quality of food is great - they will make it exactly how you like it and therefore it is all cooked from fresh. The monkfish curry is brill.

Very over familiar staff which i found off-putting and who also proceeded to clear plates even though some of our party had not finished eating- the restaurant wasnt even busy. They also ask you if you want some poppadums as you browse the menu and u get the impression these are free (as in most other indian restaurants). We noted that a £5 charge was added to our bill for these which was a complete rip off. For that reason alone we would not go back. Food was okay but v pricey. A bottle of beer is £5.50 and the glasses of wine are tiny. They also added another round of drinks to our bill by "mistake" and it took us asking twice to get this removed. Poor service and sneaky charging the name of the game here.

Very disappointing. I just don't get the popularity of this place-sorry -because service is wonderful but the sugar addled curry is awful and too pricey. Try nupur on cregagh for superior food albeit in humble surrounds.
