On the week the place opened a friend and i though we would give it a shot. I hope it has improved since. Chicken wings, awful, spicy sauce was like paint stripper and the nachos the chili's way? well they came n a plate with lettuce and cheese. Awful. Chatty wee waiter who delt with my complaints well, but i was supposed to be grateful when he pointed out i wasnt charged for the chicken wings....

I hope its better now, but i doubt i'll go again, macdonalds is looking good!

I'm a huge fan of Chilis in the US, so was a bit apprehensive after reading these reviews of Chilis Belfast. But I went, and it was great. The food was hot, arrived in good time, the staff realised that we didn't want to finish our starters and brought out the main course about 10 minutes after we had pushed our starter plate to one side. No problems with the free refill (why don't more places do that) and service was fine. Now, if they would just replace horrible coleslaw with the apple sauce on the ribs dish, I'd be in heaven. Take away containers were offered , and we weren't pushed out the door. We'll definitely be back.

I will never eat at Chilli,s again i can put up with slow service but when the food did come the chips were cold the burgers were burnt. This placed must rank as one of worst restaurants in Belfast.

Extremely disappointing! If you would like to impress a visitor to Belfast please avoid Chilis. The service we received was poor, we wait for a long time to be taken to our table. The quality of the food was extremely poor, chips were cold, burgers overcooked the meat was hard and we had to ask for cutlery. One of our guest wanted to buy a drink but this could not be facilitated on separate bill. It had to be added to the main bill. Poor customer care. To be avoided

The service was very slow. No cutlery until half way through starter. Had to wait 20 minutes for drinks. Food was decent but pricey. Waitresses could learn from american waitresses they are much nicer. I was in Chilis in Denver last year where the service was much better compared to Belfast.

Yuk!!!

never again. ordered the chicken fajitas, got a lousy breast of chicken and few peppers. Usually get sizzling hot plate with lots of chicken and onion and pepers anywhere else I went and here thats all i got. Then they brought a tiny plate with a spoonful of sour cream and gaucamoli, whcih I had to ask for more.

The couple on front of us had to send their food back and the manager came out

Wouldn't recommend at all. TGI's is two minutes away and the food is lovely. Just go there

Very slow service (and the place was quiet at the time), small helpings, overpriced and our biggest complaint, the food was really oversalted, the chips inedible.

AMAZING!!!

Was never a big fan of the "American style" restaurants. Could not say one bad word about the complex. Great food, great prices and GREAT staff. Went recently with my partner and young child, staff went to all limits to please us and even keep a smile on the babies face. Nothing fake at all. Love the loaded mash and ribs are great. Recommend the chicken dishes to all! 10/10

Will never be back. Ordered burger without cheese; the burger came covered in it and the fries were cold. My friends burger also arrived cold. Felt sick for the rest of the evening.

been a few times during the weekends, can take longer than the usual 15mins for the food, but to be expected for city centre busy times, good food , brilliant staff, just a bit overpriced on some items, especially the starters

Submitted by donny j on 30/01/2009

Severely overpriced food. How can 2 people go in and have a couple burgers and a drink each and end up spending nearly 40 quid? Thank god we didn't have a starter, our bill would have been even higher!

Submitted by Brian on 26/01/2009

Absolute rubbish service! Waited 40 mins to be seated when told 15. Then waited an hour to be served. Only part of order arrived and was cold. Incompetent manager and poor waiting staff. Id rather starve than go there again!!!!!!!

Been to sit in once which was great although a bit slow. Went on a separate occasion for takeaway food when I got home ( which is 5 mins away from restaurant) the food was completely cold and the portion was shocking it was alot less than what I got when I sat in. Even though I ordered the same thing from the menu!!

Have been twice on two separate occasions, and received unsatisfactory service both times!

First time, the service was just incredibly slow, took about 40 minutes after the starter had been eaten for the main to arrive.

Second time, it also took a fantastically long time for the food to arrive, after having waited a long time for the order to actually be taken.

When it arrived, the steak was very overcooked, and we found a black curly hair deep fried into one of the chicken goujons! Lovely! Have to say the manager didn't charge for any of these dishes that were wrong, but still they have been pretty slow at times when it was not noticeably busy in the restaurant!

I won't be making an effort to go back!

Have now been twice to Chilis, loved both times, food reminds me of holidays in Florida, proper american food.

Going back again before Christmas!

the restaurant is beautiful on the inside, and the greeting we recived at the door was very friendly. However after the waiter dropped my boyfriends folk on the floor and placed it back on the table for him to use i dont think i will be back again.I didnt really like my cold lunch.

Just what Belfast needs, excellent quality food and great menu selection. Service was friendly but just ok in timely delivery, could use some improvement. Great fun atmosphere that is most definitely lacking in the Northern Irish market. Will definitely be back!

Wow, great family dining. Love the way the kids are given a party pack on the way in. Great customer service and fantastic food for all the family. We had clean plates all round. We will definately be back.
